Been very hectic the last few weeks so apologies for this blog being about 2 weeks late. The launch night for Howard's End was a really good laugh and Howard was on great form. The last thing I remember was drinking whisky that was only about 2 weeks old. Not pretty! In fact I'm not even sure it's allowed to be called Whisky at that point. Anyway, leaving the hooch to one side you should all check out Macsorley's as its great pub and special thanks to Michael, Paul, Harri and everyone at Subclub and Macsorley's for making it such a great night and also for getting some great acts again for their Subclub party at Rock Ness.

The last release of acts seems to have gone down well with Kevin Bridges surprising a few people. We are going to see more and more comedy at the festival over the coming years and a massive thanks to Brett for sorting that out as I cannot wait to see him live. I've only seen his you tube clips but they are hilarious especially the one about giving kids from deprived areas musical instruments to help change their lives, it's genius. "You're dads in prison? No bother, here's a glockenspiel!".

I'm also really excited about seeing Blondie and I hope everyone is re learning the words to the rap in Rapture!

Finally a big thanks to Dave Clarke and the Soma guys for delivering another great lineup for the festival. It's great to see how much people care about the show, and when you see the effort that Dave puts in you can see why Soma and Slam continue to be so successful.
