RockNess beat off stiff competition last night at the prestigious Scottish Event Awards to scoop two major accolades –Best Large Festival and the headline Event Management Grand Prix.
Hosted by top comedian Des Clarke, and judged by a distinguished panel of industry experts, the glittering show in Glasgow, presented by The Drum and EventScotland, brought together the cream of the Scottish events industry.
The shortlist for Best Large Festival saw RockNess nominated alongside heavyweight international events including Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, Glasgow Film Festival and The Tall Ships Races. And in a surprise announcement made as the grand finale to the ceremony, judges accorded RockNess the headline Event Management Grand Prix accolade in recognition of the festival’s vision and creativity, pace of growth, and impact in promoting Scotland internationally.
